Sing a medium
Bio With 7 years of coaching experience, Coach Kevin Singleton enters his 1st season as McClintock inside Linebacker Coach. Previously, he was at Cal State Northridge 1996-98, working with the Linebackers, Special Teams and also a Physical Education teacher for two years. Prior to CSUN Coach Singleton coached at Mesa Community College as an outside linebacker and Special teams coach. After two seasons, Coach Singleton decided to continue his education at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ and for 2 years as a Graduate Assistant Coach, inside linebacker Coach and working closely with scout team. During that time Coaching Singleton received his Master’s in Education. Coach Singleton also played inside linebacker and special teams and graduated in 1990 with BA in General studies Sociology, Psychology, and Education. Coach Singleton’s first coached with Linebackers at Thunderbird HS in North Phoenix for 1 season. At the height of Singleton's life, he was a star linebacker at Arizona with an NFL career in his future. But the depths came just before his senior year, when he was diagnosed with leukemia, a potentially fatal cancer of the infection-fighting white blood cells. Singleton's life was saved because his identical twin brother, Chris, who also played at Arizona and went on to an NFL and played for the New England Patriots and the Miami dolphins and donated bone marrow for a transplant. Coach Singleton is a now 28 year Cancer Survivor. Singleton is a Store Manager at Fitness4home super store in Phoenix, managing that company’s Central Phoenix marketing and sales operations. He has a teenage daughter, Kaelan Singleton (14), and often does motivational speaking at charitable events raising funds for leukemia research.
